Over 150 participated in Max Hospital Mohali’s cyclothon to encourage heart-healthy living and spread awareness about cardiovascular diseases on the eve of World Heart Day on Sunday.

Chandigarh: Over 150 participated in Max Hospital Mohali’s cyclothon to encourage heart-healthy living and spread awareness about cardiovascular diseases on the eve of World Heart Day on Sunday.
The cyclothon was flagged off from Max Hospital and concluded at Lake Club, Chandigarh. Among others, Dr. Rakesh Sharma, principal consultant cardiology, Dr. Prince Kumar consultant cardiology & Dr. Shailesh Ojha senior consultant cardiac anaesthesia were present during the occasion.
Dr. Pinak Moudgil executive VP-Max Hospital, Mohali, said, “The heart diseases remain one of the leading causes of mortality in India, but it is largely preventable with lifestyle changes. By promoting active lifestyle and physical activities, we want to create awareness and empower individuals to take control of their heart health. The today cyclothon event not only emphasized the importance of an active lifestyle but also reinforced a pledge to build healthier communities.
