Workshop on Research Methodology

Jalandhar, November 7, 2023: P.G. Department of Economics of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar organised a Workshop on 'Research Methodology'. 

The resource person for the workshop was Dr. Ishu Chadda, Assistant Professor, Department of Agriculture, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. She introduced the concept of research and research methodology to the students and also guided them regarding the basics of research paper writing. She asked the students to brainstorm and read hard to zero in their topic of interest and also shared with them various tips and tricks to perform meaningful and effective research. In all, 44 students from various classes participated and got benefitted from the workshop. The success of the workshop is evident from the fact that students felt motivated to initiate research at an early stage. 

President Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other members of the Management and Principal Prof.(Dr.) Pooja Prashar appreciated the efforts of the faculty members of the Department in organising such intellectual events.
