Workshop on Business Model Canvas

Jalandhar, May 9, 2022: GU – Institutional Innovation Council (GU-IIC) organized a Workshop on Business Model Canvas. The resource person for the Workshop was Dr. Ashish Arora, Head of Computer Science & University Business School, GNDU College, Jalandhar.

Dr. Ashish Arora commenced the Workshop with the understanding of the business model and business model canvas. He emphasised on the importance of business model canvas as it is a Strategic Management and Lean Startup template for developing new or redesigning existing business models to create competitive advantage.

The resource person even threw light on the 9 building blocks spanning the areas of the organization’s core offering, infrastructure, customers, and finances. This workshop helps students to learn how to apply the Business Model Canvas to map out your current business model for understanding and analysis and gain basic knowledge of the Business Model design process.

The Workshop stood as an experiential and productive workshop, which emphasises engagement, interaction, and practice and students get specialised knowledge from expert regarding Business Model Canvas.
