Khanna, November 5, 2026: The Sakhi Shakti meeting organized by the Aam Aadmi Party Khanna witnessed tremendous enthusiasm among women on its second day as well.
Punjab Cabinet Minister and Khanna MLA Tarunpreet Singh Sond, accompanied by his family, met with the participants and held direct interactions with them, listening to their concerns, suggestions and views.
During the meeting, the women thanked Minister Sond and said that the respect, recognition and sense of belonging extended to women by the Aam Aadmi Party meant a great deal to them. They pledged to actively participate in the party's policies and public welfare initiatives and continue standing firmly with the party.
Minister Sond said that women's participation is essential for strengthening society and ensuring development. Initiatives like Sakhi Shakti not only provide respect and recognition to women but also offer them a platform to express their views.
Senior Aam Aadmi Party leaders and a large number of women party workers were also present at the meeting.
