Who is going to be locked up in Lock Upp at the behest of the fiery host - Kangana Ranaut?

For the first time ever, Indian audiences will witness a homegrown reality show titled ‘Lock Upp: Badass Jail, Atyaachari Khel’ hosted by the Queen of Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut. Lock Upp, a first-of-its-kind captive reality show, is co-created by India’s entertainment super app, MX Player & streaming giant, ALTBalaji where 16 controversial celebrities will be locked up for 72 days and stripped of their amenities.

There are rumours making rounds that risqué model, Poonam Pandey and spiritual leader, Om Swami have apparently come onboard as participants for the show. Furthermore, sources have stated that well-known industry faces like Shehnaaz Gill, Chetan Bhagat and Rohman Shawl have also been approached by the makers. Social media is abuzz as well about celebrity contestants who will be a part of this tentpole format with names such as Urfi Javed, Mallika Sherawat and Shweta Tiwari making the rounds. Other popular names that have come up are those of Avneet Kaur, Divyanka Tripathi, Manav Gohil and even Hina Khan! Nobody knows how true this news is but with names like these and given their outgoing personalities, it seems like this jail is going to have some extremely interesting inmates with host Kangana Ranaut cracking the whip.
 
Speaking about Lock Upp, Kangana Ranaut said, “I am thrilled to be a part of this captive reality show where the contestants will not only have to face their demons and deal with their insecurities but will also have to reveal their darkest truths. Lock Upp is for honest people who just don’t care about how likeable they are. And I just can’t wait to host this most fearless show ever.” She further added, “Ye meri jail hai aur yahan hoga atyachaar ka khel.”
 
Based on the concept that one only realizes the value of freedom when they are locked up, this never-seen-before fearless show with a daring celebrity host will display some compelling tasks, dramatic fights and exciting challenges for the celebrity contestants.
