Webinar on topic “Teaching Pedagogy with NEP 2020”

Jalandhar, February 3, 2022: Ivy world school under the aegis of the Vasal Educational Society conducted a webinar on the topic “Teaching Pedagogy with NEP 2020” on 29th January 2022. The objective of this session was to acquaint senior school teachers with NEP and the changes it would bring in the curriculum from the next session. Mr. Sachin Sidhra explained in a pertinent manner the role; a teacher will play in implementing NEP. The teacher's role will change from being an educator to being a facilitator for the students providing  students with  wings to explore and learn.

The aim of NEP is to make the student a “PROBLEM SOLVER” as it is the need of the hour. They will be encouraged to analyse a certain topic, to research, and ascertain conclusions based on the research. The teacher’s job will be to validate those findings and to synthesize the discovery.

The Principal, Mrs. S. Chauhan highlighted the fact that it was indeed the right step further to encourage our students to investigate , study and analyse.
