Surabhi and Samriddhi as Sweeti and Meethi.

The delightful duo of Surabhi and Samriddhi need no introduction, do they? After amassing love and affection from the netizens, the twin sisters are ruling over people’s hearts with their performances as Sweeti-Meethi in Sony SAB’s Hero- Gayab Mode On.

The duo is loving their newest adventure on television as much as fans are loving them. Here’s what Surabhi and Samriddhi have to say about their journey so far and their entire experience of working in a fantasy & sci-fi show on television.
Encapsulating on how their journey started, the twin sisters said, “Initially, we started blogging about fashion and making twin content. The audience liked our content and we were directly called for an audition in Mumbai for our first television reality show. Working in unison is our biggest advantage as I feel that we stand strong together. Our parents were quite apprehensive initially, but gradually they understood our passion and have been supportive throughout our journey to date.”

Talking about how they rose to fame, Surabhi and Samriddhi said, “It took time, even after our first 5 days of performance in the reality show. But I still remember it was the 5th night and when we woke up, our accounts were verified and we had so many followers on our Social media handles. It was almost like a dream come true for us, we couldn’t believe our eyes for all the love and support we received from thereon.”

Narrating their journey in the fantasy-show genre, they said, “One random day, we just received a call to come for auditions and being honest, the character of Sweeti-Meethi is similar to us. So, we never had to play anything different on-screen, we portray the same Surabhi-Samriddhi just like we are. Sony SAB’s Hero- Gayab Mode On has been a turning point for us as it was the first time we got to act in a fiction show. We are re-living our school memories along with Sweeti-Meethi on the sets. We are eventually growing every day, learning all the technicalities of acting. Everyone on the set has also been very supportive and have left no stones unturned to make us feel comfortable. Right now, we are just going with the flow and enjoying all the positive responses from our fans and audience of Hero-Gayab Mode On.”
