WAR IS DESTRUCTION
War is destruction. It leaves thousands of innocent people dead, homeless, and orphaned. Modern warfare is based on advanced and sophisticated technology, capable of causing large-scale devastation within a short span of time.

In the past, historians have examined wars in great detail, collecting data, facts, and figures that future generations continue to read about—whether related to World War I or World War II. The ultimate result of war, however, remains the same: destruction. War involves the use of the latest weapons, leading to the loss of innocent lives and the destruction of buildings, hospitals, schools, and infrastructure. It leaves countless people homeless, orphaned, and emotionally shattered. Those who experience war firsthand understand the deep economic and financial crises it creates.
Recently, conflict between Israel and Iran has intensified, and several countries in the Middle East are facing instability. While advanced warfare technology and weapons are being used, the real sufferers are the common people who will bear the long-term consequences. World superpowers often extend support to countries engaged in conflict, but the long-term destruction and future complications are rarely fully considered.
In the Middle East, tourism, crude oil, and dry fruits are major sources of income. In times of war, the impact on these sectors becomes uncertain. Tourists from Europe and the Asian subcontinent visit the region every year. Ongoing tensions raise serious concerns about the future of tourism and regional stability.
WILL CRUDE OIL PRICES RISE IN THE COMING YEARS?
Although battery-operated two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and four-wheelers are increasingly available in the market, petrol- and diesel-powered vehicles have also grown in number compared to previous years. While the demand for fossil fuels may gradually decrease in the future, it still remains significant.
Electric railway engines have already reduced diesel consumption in Indian Railways. However, a critical question remains: Could crude oil prices rise due to the Israel-Iran conflict? Similarly, will bullion prices—such as gold and silver—continue to increase amid geopolitical uncertainty?
CAN ADVANCED WARFARE TECHNOLOGY CONTRIBUTE TO GLOBAL WARMING?
Another important concern is whether the use of advanced weapons—such as rockets and missiles—could have a long-term impact on the global environment, global warming, or climate change.
Unpredictable weather patterns, including unexpected snowfall, heavy rains, floods, and fluctuating temperatures, cannot be directly linked to war. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, when global activity slowed significantly, pollution levels declined noticeably. This demonstrated how human activity directly affects the environment.
The long-term environmental impact of modern warfare remains uncertain. Yet one truth remains clear: nature is supreme, and humanity must respect its balance.
PEACE AND BROTHERHOOD MUST BE THE PRIORITY
Maintaining peace and brotherhood should be the ultimate mission of all nations. World superpowers must take proactive steps to defuse tensions and play a constructive role in resolving sensitive issues. Peace always paves the way for prosperity, stability, and development.
WILL THE ISRAEL–IRAN CONFLICT AFFECT TOURISM IN THE MIDDLE EAST?
It is indeed a significant question whether the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel will affect tourism in the coming years. The impact is not limited to the two nations directly involved; neighboring countries in the Middle East also face the ripple effects of geopolitical instability.
Many international airlines operate from the Middle East, often offering comparatively affordable fares. Continued tensions could lead to increased airfares, disruptions in travel routes, and a decline in tourist arrivals.
The long-term impact on tourism, trade, and regional economies remains to be seen.
