Voter List Revision Programme Notified for Sampla Municipal General Elections-2026; Draft Ward-wise Roll to be Published on February 28: DC Sachin Gupta
Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Sachin Gupta informed that the Haryana State Election Commission has issued a notification announcing the voter list revision programme for the Sampla Municipal General Elections-2026.
Rohtak, February 18, 2026: Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Sachin Gupta informed that the Haryana State Election Commission has issued a notification announcing the voter list revision programme for the Sampla Municipal General Elections-2026.
He said that, as per the provisions of the Municipal Election Rules, 1978, arrangements have been made for revision of the electoral rolls to ensure accuracy, transparency, and maximum voter participation. For disposal of claims and objections, Mukund, Managing Director, Cooperative Sugar Mill Meham (Mobile: 8708152196) has been appointed as the Revising Authority, while Ashok Kumar, Naib Tehsildar, Sampla (Mobile: 9466836288) has been appointed as the Assistant Revising Authority.
Further, Narender, Secretary, Municipal Committee Sampla (Mobile: 9996444660) has been directed to ensure all necessary actions for ward-wise publication of voter lists strictly in accordance with the notified schedule and guidelines.
Voter List Revision Schedule
The Deputy Commissioner informed that, as per the notified programme:
• Up to February 27, 2026: Ward-wise draft voter list to be prepared based on the latest published Assembly Electoral Roll
• February 28, 2026: Publication of ward-wise draft voter list and invitation of claims and objections
• Up to March 7, 2026: Submission of claims and objections
• Up to March 12, 2026: Disposal of claims and objections by the Revising Authority
• Up to March 16, 2026: Filing of appeals before the Deputy Commissioner against Revising Authority’s orders
• Up to March 19, 2026: Disposal of appeals
• March 27, 2026: Final publication of voter list
All voters of Sampla Municipality have been urged to actively participate in the revision process, verify their details in the draft rolls, and submit claims or objections within the prescribed timeline to ensure inclusion of correct and updated entries.
The District Election Officer reiterated that a clean, inclusive, and error-free electoral roll is the foundation of free and fair municipal elections.
