Rohtak, September 19, 2026: Visually impaired children in Rohtak now have a dedicated facility to train and hone their football skills, with Rotary Club of Rohtak Next setting up the Kanha Practice Area. The facility was inaugurated on Saturday.
The green-grass practice ground provides a safe and dedicated space for regular football training. Visually impaired players showcased their skills, movement and teamwork during the inauguration, drawing applause from the audience.
Club president Rotarian Atul Bansal said the initiative aims to provide children with an inclusive environment to develop their sporting abilities, confidence and team spirit. The club, he added, remains committed to promoting inclusive sports.
Launched with the message “Play, Practise, Participate—Create Lasting Impact,” the initiative seeks to give visually impaired children greater opportunities to develop their sporting talent.
Jyoti Bansal, Kashish Bansal, Sahil Arora, Anu Bansal, Siddhant Jain and Geetika Jain were among those present.
