Chandigarh, December 3, 2015: Vigilance Bureau has today nabbed a Patwari of the revenue circle Bhaini Kalan red handed while accepting bribe of Rs.9000.
Disclosing this here today an official spokesperson of the Vigilance Bureau said that Patwari of the revenue circle Bhaini Kalan Manjit Singh was nabbed on the complaint of Gurdarshan Singh resident of Manak Majra Tehsil Malerkotla District Sangrur. In his complaint Gurdarshan singh has alleged that Manjit Singh was demanding Rs. 10,000 as bribe in lieu entering his name in Computer record. At last the deal was struck at Rs. 9000.
Acting on the tip off the complainant a trap was laid by the Deputy Superintendent Of Police (vigilance) Pritipal Singh and the Patwari of the revenue circle Bhaini Kalan Manjit Singh was nabbed red handed while receiving the bribe of Rs 9000 form the complainant.
