Valedictory session of Refresher Course on Pedagogy in Higher Education 

Chandigarh, February 28, 2024: A valedictory session of the Refresher Course on Pedagogy in Higher Education was held today in UGC-Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre, Panjab University. 

Prof. Rajneesh Arora, MD, Amritsar Group of Colleges and former Vice-Chancellor, Panjab Technical University delivered the Valedictory address as the Chief Guest. Prof. Arora in his address spoke on Value-based pedagogy for Higher education and highlighted that the goal of education is sanskar. The teacher should aim at development of the competence to live with definite Human Conduct and Discipline to self discipline. He said that human conduct depends on education. During higher education, it is required to bring forth self disciplined students.

Prof. Anju Suri, Honorary Director, UGC- Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre, Panjab University welcomed the Guests and congratulated the participants on the successful completion of the course. Participants from higher education institutes from six states attended the programme.
