Union Minister Dr. L. Murugan to visit flood-affected areas in Rupnagar
Union Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs, Dr. L. Murugan, will visit flood-affected areas of Rupnagar district in Punjab on 13th September.

Rupnagar, September 13, 2025: Union Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs, Dr. L. Murugan, will visit flood-affected areas of Rupnagar district in Punjab on 13th September.
As part of his visit, Dr. Murugan will:
• Visit Shahpur Bela village to meet flood victims and take stock of the situation.
• Visit Hariwal village to interact with affected families, assess the situation, and distribute relief material.
• After lunch at Bhanupali, proceed to Bela Dhyani to meet flood victims, review the situation, and distribute relief material.
• Visit Laxmi Narayan Temple, Nangal, to take stock of flood damage to the temple.
• At 05:30 PM, chair a review meeting with the Deputy Commissioner, Rupnagar.
Dr. Murugan will stay overnight at the Canal Rest House, Rupnagar.
On the next day, 14th September, he will address a press conference at the Canal Rest House, Rupnagar. Later in the day, he will also participate in a local event in Chandigarh.
