Amazon MX Player, Amazon’s free video streaming service, has unveiled the trailer for its new coming-of-age drama CO-ED, following the teaser release on Children’s Day. Set against the backdrop of an all-boys and all-girls school that merge after decades and what follows is a hilarious comedy of errors as teenage worlds collide, sparking chaos, curiosity, and first crushes. From Sikhya Entertainment and director Saqib Pandor — the team behind the much-loved series Gutar Gu — comes yet another slice-of-life story that blends humour, heart, and nostalgia. Boasting a stellar ensemble cast featuring Vedant Sinha, Adrija Sinha, Varun Badola, and Rajeshwari Sachdev in pivotal roles, CO-ED is all set to take you on a heart-warming and a rollercoaster ride through this family drama.
The trailer captures the delightful madness that unfolds when two opposite worlds suddenly collide. Twin siblings Shikha and Nikhil Parwani couldn’t be more different. While Shikha is fierce, outspoken and a back-bencher, Nikhil is shy, timid and the class-topper. Their lives are thrown into chaos when their all-girls and all-boys schools unexpectedly merge. What follows is a hilarious clash of personalities and rivalries that spiral into laughter, confusion, and heartwarming moments. With its mix of humour, nostalgia, and emotions, CO-ED celebrates the mess, magic, and madness of growing up.

We’re excited to continue our collaboration with Sikhya Entertainment to bring yet another relatable, nostalgic story to our millions of viewers across India.”
Guneet Monga Kapoor, Producer, Sikhya Entertainment, added, “After 3 seasons worth of love for Gutar Gu, CO-ED creator Girish Jotwani and director Saqib Pandor have come together to bring a fresh and deeply relatable coming-of-age story. The Parwani twins, our fearless and energetic Adrija Sinha and Vedant Sinha, discover what it truly means to live together, when all the walls come down!Saqib and Girish have brought all heart into the beautiful world of CO-ED, filled with siblinghood, peer pressure, friendships, and an entertaining family battling new dynamics. We’re thrilled to have seasoned actors Varun Badola and Rajeshwari Sachdev bring immense warmth and authenticity to the parents’ roles. CO-ED is heartfelt, entertaining, and undeniably real, and we can’t wait for audiences to experience it.”
Talking about the series, veteran actor Varun Badola said, “CO-ED captures the chaos of teenage life, made even more intense when two sister schools merge and everyone is forced to adapt. What we love is how honestly it shows the parents’ parallel journey. As parents in the story, we relate to that tug-of-war between guiding your kids and letting them grow. The twins react so differently, just like in any middle-class family where emotions, expectations, and social norms collide. CO-ED reminds us that growing up is never just a teen story, it’s something parents live through too.”
Rajeshwari Sachdev, sharing her thoughts on the series, said, “CO-ED beautifully captures that confusing, funny, and emotional phase of growing up, not just for the kids, but for the parents too. As a mother in the story, I could relate to the constant push and pull between wanting to protect your children and letting them find their own way. It’s a heartwarming reminder that growing up is a shared journey, for both teens and parents.”
Creator Girish Jotwani and Director Saqib Pandor said, “CO-ED is a heartfelt slice of middle-class life, where teenage chaos, humour, and heart collide. Through the Parwani twins, we dive into the nostalgia of school days and the ever-shifting bond between parents and their growing children. Building this world together has been a joy, and our cast has done a remarkable job bringing it to life, especially while shooting through the unforgiving Udaipur heat. We hope audiences see a bit of their own family in CO-ED, and enjoy this world as much as we loved making it.”
