Jalandhar, December 16, 2022: An English poem recitation competition was organized under the theme 'Blossoming Poets' for the Learners and Explorers of Innokids from all the five schools of Innocent Hearts (Green Model Town, Loharan, Cantt. Jandiala Road, Royal World, and Kapurthala Road) to create awareness among the children.  The aim was to remove stage fright and enhance their self-expression and diction skills.  They recited rhymes on various topics like Plant More Trees, Save Girl Child, Good Manners, Happy Family, Earth, My School, My Home, My Country, Fruit Power and Vegetables, Wheel on the Bus, etc.  Children's confidence in poetry-presentation was worth appreciating. They mesmerized everyone through their poems.  Alka Arora (Deputy Director InnoKids) appreciated these little poets a lot.  She said that the children who got first, second and third positions in the competition were judged on the basis of the topic of their poem, their pronunciation, expressions, and voice modulation.

In Green Model Town, Gargi Sharma, Vanaysha Sareen, Gurseerat Kaur, Ayaan, Kiratjot Kaur Yonit Gangwani stood first in class Explorers and Ojas Sharma, Sayesha Sodhi, and Chestha stood first in grade Learners.

In Loharan, Amyra, Kashiv stood first among grade Explorers and Jorawat Singh stood first in grade Learners.  Gaurik Jain, Gian Oberoi, and Trisha Malhotra secured the first position in grade Explorers at Cantt.- Jandiala Road.  Ahana Thakur, Advik Sehgal, and Dhanvi stood first in grade Explorers and Sargun stood first in grade Learners at Royal World.  Raghav Bhagat secured the first position in grade Learners at Kapurthala Road.  Alka Arora (Deputy Director InnoKids) congratulated the winners. On this occasion, Sharmila Nakra (Deputy Director Cultural Affairs) applauded all the participants. She mentioned it is not easy to come on the stage to present the views in the form of poetry. It is their confidence that motivates them to recite the poems spontaneously.
