The Q set to woo viewers with ‘Mr Aur Mrs LLB’, an exclusive Comedy-Drama Show

India’s fastest growing Hindi General Entertainment Channel, The Q continues to bolster its content offering while captivating newer audiences across India with its unique storytelling and quirky characters. Leading the way with its differentiated strategy and keeping up to its commitment to provide its viewers the best from the world of digital entertainment for the first time on television, The Q now announces the launch of a new Dramedy, Mr Aur Mrs LLB thus diversifying its programming slate and further strengthening its core proposition for viewers while strengthening the culture of appointment viewing across its platforms. Mr Aur Mrs LLB will premiere on Monday, June 20 at 9:00 pm and will subsequently air from Monday to Friday exclusively on The Q.

Set in an unheard fictitious town Machandpur and led with characters, each having their own unique quirks, Mr Aur Mrs LLB will feature stories around the lives of lawyer couple - Anirudh Agarwal played by Subir Rana and Payal Agarwal played by Shivani Tomar - who has contradicting ideologies and theories. Adding humour to the plot and making the show a rib-tickling comedy is a silly Judge Rajinder Chaudhary played by Sumit Arora who is seen having a soft corner for Payal’s honesty and integrity and keen interest in Anirudh’s bizarre case-arguments. The makers of the show 'To Nice Men Mediaworks' have created this story for the digital world, which is now being presented by The Q Hindi TV channel, across the length and breadth of the country. Each story will spread across three to five episodes and is a satirical take on situations inspired from real life settings.  To promote the humour and the madness, The Q will roll-out a cross-media integrated marketing campaign helmed by the central characters – lawyers Anirudh and Payal Agarwal and the judge Rajinder Chaudhary displaying their quirks at their very best ahead of the shows television premiere. The plot twists and turns would be further heightened with more eccentric and funny characters such as the brother-in-law of Rajinder Chaudhary, Bantarpal, played by Gunjan Sinha, and a crazy Reporter Khoji Bawla (played by Saksham Shukla).

Excited to play the lead role, Shivani Tomar says, “Payal Agarwal's character is very special as she will be showing a different level of passion for her work. Subir and I bond very well in reel and real life both , and therefore, the audience is surely going to like our bickerings in the show. Our husband-wife tussle inside the court will be very enticing for everyone. I am sure that our audience is going to love this show full of laughter and courtroom drama.”

Subir Rana, who plays the character of Anirudh Agarwal in the story, says, “The show may have been made for the digital platform, but through The Q, the entire nation will be able to enjoy its unique stories. This show is close to my heart. My mischievous character along with the other quirky and strange characters in the show, and our stories filled with funny anecdotes every week will add a new flavor to television. I hope it keeps the audience entertained. Stay tuned for 'Mr. Aur Mrs. LLB' to see what this jodi brings to its audiences."

Well-known comedian Sumit Arora who is playing the role of the judge, says, “I have worked in many comedy shows, but my character in Mr. Aur Mrs. LLB is entirely different from all the previous ones. It will be worth watching to see how the bewildered judge handles the confusion and dramas spread by the husband and wife (lawyers) despite being focused on his work. Not to forget, his brother-in-law who keeps troubling him. I think a new story every week will hit the audience and will be very entertaining.”

Mr Aur Mrs LLB will premiere on Monday, June 20 at 9:00 pm and will subsequently air from Monday to Friday exclusively on The Q.
