Teej celebrations in Lyallpur Khalsa College Hostel

Jalandhar, August 18, 2015: The hostel inmates of the girls hostel of Lyallpur Khalsa College today celebrated the festival of Teej.  The highlights of the programme were presentation of Punjabi folk arts including folk songs and dance. Speaking on the occasion the college Principal Dr G.S.Samra said that such activities related one to one's roots and it was needed to keep them going so as to keep one's culture alive. He exhorted the students to work unitedly for preservation of Punjabi cultural heritage. The occasion was witnessed by the presence of all the hostlers and the senior teachers of the college.
