Suraj in Singles and Amit & Anuj in Doubles Win Crowns at AITA Rs.1 Lac Men’s Tennis Tournament at Jassowal

Jassowal, Ludhiana, September 1, 2023: Fourth seed Suraj Prabodh of Karnataka, lifted the Men’s Singles crown at the HTA–AITA Rs.1 Lac Men’s Tennis Tournament at Harvest Tennis Academy.  Suraj Prabodh beat top seed Oges Jaya Prakash of Tamil Nadu 7-6 (5), 4-6, 6-3.  In the doubles Amit Bzad and Anuj Malik of Haryana defeated pair of Udit Kamboj and Ajay Kundu of Haryana 6-4, 6-3.
 
Present on the occasion of the Prize Distribution ceremony were Sandeep Singh, Manager Administration, Harvest Campus, Jay Sharma, Principal, Harvest International School, IK Mahajan, Director Tennis, Gaurav Bhardwaj Manager Tennis, Harvest Tennis Academy along with other coaching staff.
 
Sandeep Singh, Manager Administration of Harvest Campus, explained that the Campus comprises the Tennis Academy and Ludhiana’s first and only Cambridge affiliated school, is 30 minutes’ drive from Ludhiana, located in the pristine ambience of village Jassowal-Kular. The Campus offers world class facilities in both academics and tennis training with several expatriate coaches and teachers specially brought in to assist this unique and a must visit facility.
 
All the participants, their accompanying parents and coaches appreciated the efforts done by the Harvest Tennis Academy for the smooth conduct of the tournament and hospitality rendered to them by the Academy.

Men’s Singles (Finals Round):  4-Suraj Prabodh (KA) beat 1-Oges T. Jaya Prakash (TN) 7-6(5), 4-6, 6-3.
 
Men’s Doubles (Finals Round):  Amit Bzad (HR) & Anuj Malik (HR) bt. Udit Kamboj (HR) & Ajay Kundu (HR) 6-4, 6-3.
