Students of South Africa and North East marks Christmas at CT University

Ludhiana, December 27, 2021: The students from South Africa, Nigeria, and the Northeast at CT University marked the fest of Christmas with great fun and fervor. Preparations for the festival began a week ago, with the crib of the baby Jesus Christ being set up by students of School of Design and Innovation. The program was inaugurated by Manbir Singh, Managing Director and Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor by cutting a cake. And then students preceded the celebration by telling the birth stories of Jesus concluded with African dances and food.

Manbir Singh, Managing Director, CT University, said, "The atmosphere of the University is one of unity and integrity in which students of all nations and religions celebrate all the festivals together."

Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor said, “The purpose of Christmas is to celebrate that God loves us, is with us and for us, all the time. Unlike most things, it does not have an expiry date and is not limited to one day.  We should be more giving, more caring, most kind, and more respectful of others every day of our lives.”

The event was organized by International students Rakhe Teni, Tasar Maha, Khethisa P.Molapo, Elizabeth Karia under the guidance of Dr. Sachin Sharma, Dean, Student Welfare, CT University.
