The students of Innocent Hearts School maintained their dominance in the zonal sports competitions organized by Punjab School Education Board in Zone- 2, 4 and 7.

Jalandhar, October 4, 2023: The students of Innocent Hearts School maintained their dominance in the zonal sports competitions organized by Punjab School Education Board in Zone- 2, 4 and 7.  

In Innocent Hearts Green Model Town, the boys' team stood first and won the gold medal in the badminton tournament in the Under-17 category and the girls' team stood second and won the silver medal in the Under-14 category.  In the Kho-Kho Under-19 category, the boys' team stood first and won the gold medal and the girls' team stood second and won the silver medal.  In Handball, the girls team won the gold medal by securing first position in the Under-19 category.  In basketball, the girls team won the silver medal by finishing second in the under-14 category.  And in cricket, the boys team stood second in the under-14 category and won the silver medal.

Innocent Hearts,  Loharan girls' team stood first in volleyball and won the gold medal in the Under-14, 17 and 19 category and the boys won the silver medal by standing second in the Under-19 category, while the boys won the silver medal in the Under-14 and 17 category.  The team won the bronze medal by finishing third.  In Kho-Kho, girls won the gold medal by securing first position in the Under-19 category.  In the Under-17 category, girls stood first and won the gold medal in badminton, while in the Under-19 category, boys stood third and won the bronze medal.  In cricket, boys stood first in the Under-14 category and won the gold medal and won the silver medal by standing second in the Under-17 category.  While Under-17 girls stood first and won the gold medal.

Innocent Hearts Nurpur Road, in the Under-14, 17, 19 category, the girls' team won the gold medal by standing first in volleyball, while the boys' team stood second and won the silver medal. In the under-17, 19 category, the boys' team won the gold medal.  The team won the gold medal by securing the first position in handball and in the under-14 category, boys and girls got the second position and won the silver medal, while in the under-17 category, the girls got the third position and won the bronze medal.  In the Under-14, 17 category, the boys and girls team stood first in badminton and won the gold medal and in the Under-19 category, the boys and girls team stood second and won the silver medal.

In Innocent Hearts Kapurthala Road Campus, Naman Sharma won the gold medal by securing first position in handball in the under-17 category, Tanv Dutta in the under-14 category in badminton and Advita won the silver medal by securing the second position in the under-17 category.

Dr. Anup Bowry, Chairman, Innocent Hearts, congratulated all the sports teachers and HODs for their hard work and encouraged them for their stupendous success in the zonal competitions.  He praised the winners and wished them all the best for the future.
