GGNIMT hosts professional skills workshop for plus two students

Department of Business Management, Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology(GGNIMT) Ghumar Mandi, organised  a two-day workshop on "Professional Image Building and Excellence in Excel" for 10+2 pass-out students with the objective of enhancing their professional skills and technical knowledge. The workshop aimed to develop soft skills in students required for a strong professional presence and to equip students with practical skills in Microsoft Excel and—both essential for academic and career growth.

Ludhiana, July 5, 2025: Department of Business Management, Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology(GGNIMT) Ghumar Mandi, organised  a two-day workshop on "Professional Image Building and Excellence in Excel" for 10+2 pass-out students with the objective of enhancing their professional skills and technical knowledge. The workshop aimed to develop soft skills in students required for a strong professional presence and to equip students with practical skills in Microsoft Excel and—both essential for academic and career growth.

The event was inaugurated by Principal Dr. Harpreet Singh, who encouraged the students to embrace continuous learning and skill development. Dr. Harminder Kaur, Head Department of Business Management, advised the students to pursue  during the task of building a professional image and mastering essential tools like Excel in today’s competitive environment.

On Day 1 GGNIMT faculty Prof. Priya Arora trained the participants on developing their soft skills for professional success. On Day 2, Dr. Damini Chhabra engaged the participants with hands-on training and interactive discussions to develop their competency in Excel.

The workshop concluded with a valedictory address by Director Prof. Manjit Singh Chhabra, appreciated the efforts of the teaching faculty for organizing such an impactful and well-structured program. He emphasized the importance of such initiatives in bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industry expectations.

The event received enthusiastic participation from the students and positive feedback, reflecting the growing demand for skill-based learning among young aspirants.
