New Pathways to Stress Management for Young Women

Students Learn the Mantra to Manage Stress

Mumbai (Anil Bedag): In today’s highly competitive and digital-driven world, success often comes hand in hand with mounting pressure—especially for the younger generation. Academic demands, career uncertainties, social expectations and constant online engagement have made mental health a critical concern. Addressing this reality, a stress management session organised at St. Pauls Institute of Communication Education for Women offered students clarity, confidence and practical tools to cope better with stress.

Over 100 students participated in the interactive session held on Thursday, organised by Holy Family Hospital, Bandra (West). The session was led by renowned psychiatrists Dr. Neeti Sapru and Dr. Aditi Udeshi, who highlighted the evolving mental health challenges faced by today’s youth.

Moving beyond a traditional lecture format, the session encouraged open dialogue, allowing students to share experiences and concerns. Topics such as academic pressure, digital overload and emotional wellbeing were discussed in a relatable and practical manner. The initiative reinforced that stress is not a weakness, but a manageable part of modern life—empowering students to face personal and academic challenges with resilience and emotional strength.
