New Delhi, May 4, 2015: With the marks of JEE Mains 2015 out, it is celebration time at India’s top engineering training institute FIITJEE situated at Punjabi Bagh, whose students turned out trumps yet again at the highest level of national competition. Shobhit Rastogi a student of 2 year long term classroom program from FIITJEE Punjabi Bagh Centre has scored highest in Delhi state by scoring 323 out of 360 marks in JEE Mains. Apart from this, 3 students scored above 300 and 9 students scored more than 285 from FIITJEE Punjabi Bagh centre, which is the best performance by any single centre of any institute in Delhi. A total of 447+ selections for JEE Advanced 2015 (compiled till 5pm as on 27th April 2015). This shows the academic vigor practiced at FIITJEE, Punjabi Bagh.
Among the top scorers from FIITJEE Punjabi Bagh are :
1. Shobhit Rastogi – 323 marks (2 year classroom program)
2. Sagar Goyal – 310 marks  (4 year classroom program)
3. Mukund Mundra – 308 marks  (4 year classroom program)
4. Ayush Garg – 296 marks (2 year classroom program)
5. Sahil Grover – 295 marks (4 year classroom program)
6. Deepanshu Bansal – 290 marks (One year classroom program)
7. Prannay Khosla – 286 marks (4 year classroom program)
8. Vivek Arora – 286 marks (Pinnacle program)
9. Makkunda Sharma – 285 marks (4 year classroom program)
The Joint Entrance Examination (Mains) was conducted in two formats ie Offline on 4 April, 2015 and Online on 10 & 11 April, 2015. More than 13 lakh students from across the country tested their skills at the JEE Mains 2015.  
The 1.5 lakh aspirants who will fight it out in the JEE Advanced 2015 for nearly 10,000 seats in various IIT’s, out of this almost 75,000 students will compete under the general category while the rest would be under reserved category. Selection to other Engineering colleges will be done on the basis of a cumulative score of 40% of the normalized marks, a student secures in the XII Board marks and 60% of marks obtained in JEE-Mains.
This is not the first time that students of FIITJEE Punjabi Bagh centre have outscored others at JEE. The success of FIITJEE students at national level year after year proves the superiority of the teachers, and the coaching modalities at one of India’s most trusted institutes.
 
The students who have made it past the first round are understandably thrilled, yet cautious, as they know the final barrier remains to be crossed.
“Making it to the IITs is the dream of every Science student. Having worked really hard towards this goal, I was confident of scoring well in JEE Mains.
