Students of Agriculture Department participate in Kissan Mela in Kartarpur

Jalandhar, September 10, 2018: Students of Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions participated in the kissan mela at Kartarpur. 37 students of B.Sc Agriculture took part in this Kissan Mela. In this visit Assistant Professor Mr.Mithilesh Pandey, Mr Vishal Mishra and Mr.Pranab bharali accompanied and guided the students regarding the need and importance of the kissan mela. Assistant Professor Mr.Pranab Bharali delivered a lecture to the farmers regarding bee keeping and its importance to the farmers. Assistant Professor Mr.Vishal Mishra delivered a lecture on Medicinal and aromatic plants to the farmers. Assistant Professor Mr.Mithilesh Pandey had a discussion on banana varieties with the farmers. With this faculty of Innocent hearts group of institutions educated the farmers regarding the new and effective way of irrigations and also guided the farmers regarding the side effects of pesticides & insecticide on our health. Parminder Singh participated in the quiz competition and won a prize of T-shirt by Sonalika Company. The students were very much curious about the visit and joined the visit with full dedication and interest.
