STEM Education & Design Thinking Workshop conducted by Australian Interns at Ankur School
Ankur School, Sector 14, PU Campus, Chandigarh today hosted the culmination ceremony of a six-week interactive programme conducted by undergraduate interns from the School of Education, Curtin University, Perth, Australia, along with their team leaders Prof. Rekha Kaul and Prof. Rachel Sheffield.
Chandigarh, February 11, 2026: Ankur School, Sector 14, PU Campus, Chandigarh today hosted the culmination ceremony of a six-week interactive programme conducted by undergraduate interns from the School of Education, Curtin University, Perth, Australia, along with their team leaders Prof. Rekha Kaul and Prof. Rachel Sheffield.
The Australian interns actively engaged students through hands-on experiments and project-based learning involving data collection, research and problem-solving on socially relevant themes such as ‘Recycle Plastic’, ‘Avoid Bites from Stray Dogs’ and ‘Pollution’.
The collaborative programme was hosted under the flagship of the Department of Education, Panjab University, Chandigarh by Prof. Jatinder Grover, Chairperson, and Prof. Nandita Singh. The special invitees to the workshop were Prof. Naveen Aggarwal and Prof. Sarbjeet Singh from UIET, PU, who appreciated the hands-on learning in design thinking and STEM education demonstrated by the students.
