Stall at Home Science College to foster entrepreneurship and celebrate poshan maah

Chandigarh, September 6, 2023: The Department of Foods & Nutrition at Government Home Science  College put up a stall selling a Mumbai Special Millet Vada Pav serving with white coconut & green pudina chutney in the campus today.

 The aim was to foster nutritional understanding through a theme centered on "Suposhit Bharat, Sakshar Bharat, Sashakt Bharat" (Nutrition-rich India, Educated India, Empowered India)

The stall received a  tremendous response and was sold out. The Millet rich recipe was relished by all staff and students of the college.

Prof. Sudha Katyal, Principal encouraged the students to carry out more such activities giving them a chance for learning by doing. The stall served the dual purpose of exposing the children to entrepreneurship as well as spreading nutritional awareness
