Special Lecture on ‘Spiritual Leadership of Mahatma Gandhi’ 

Chandigarh, January 27, 2023: Special Lecture was organized on 24th January, 2023 by the Department of Gandhian and Peace Studies on ‘Spiritual Leadership of Mahatma Gandhi’ by Professor R. K. Gupta, Department of Political Science, R.K.S.D. (PG) College, District Kaithal (Haryana).

Professor R. K Gupta during his lecture on “Spiritual Leadership of Mahatma Gandhi” while sharing the leadership qualities of Mahatma Gandhi said that to Gandhi the Gita permits no distinction between one’s relations and others. No other book or scripture influenced Gandhi, shaped his character and transformed his life as profoundly and permanently as did the Bhagwad Gita. Gita alone became an unfailing source of strength and solace to him in the darkest hours of his life. Gandhi went even further to claim that Gita is not my Bible or my Quran it is my eternal mother. 

So we encourage everyone to live life with purity, strength, discipline, honesty, kindness, and integrity along with truth and non-violence in order to find our purpose and to live it fully.
