Ludhiana, August 28, 2025: GGN Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT) successfully organized a seminar on “The Relationship between Innovation and Entrepreneurship” under the aegis of the Entrepreneurship Club and Institution Innovation Cell (IIC). The seminar highlighted the importance of creativity, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial thinking in today’s competitive world.
The keynote address was delivered by Dr. S. B. Singh, the distinguished guest speaker, who emphasized that innovation is not limited to invention or technology but extends to discovering better ways to improve lives and add value. He underlined that entrepreneurship acts as the bridge that transforms innovative ideas into meaningful businesses, solutions, and impactful movements.
Prof. Manjit S. Chhabra, Director, GGNIMT, expressed his delight over the enthusiastic participation of students and said, “In a rapidly changing world, the synergy between innovation and entrepreneurship is what will empower our youth to become job creators rather than job seekers.”
Sharing his thoughts, Dr. Harpreet Singh, Principal, GGNIMT, remarked, “Such seminars provide a valuable platform for students to understand how creativity and business acumen go hand in hand, and how they can harness this knowledge to build a better future.”
Satinderjit Singh, Head, Department of Computer Applications, also addressed the gathering and added, “The fusion of innovation and entrepreneurship is essential for developing sustainable solutions. Our students must learn to adopt this mindset to stay ahead in the competitive landscape.”
The seminar concluded with an engaging interaction session where students posed thought-provoking questions to the guest speaker, making the event highly enriching and inspiring.
