Kapurthala, September 19, 2025: Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala has commenced Special Campaign 5.0 from September 16, 2025 in line with the directives of the Government of India.
The campaign is aimed at further strengthening the objectives of cleanliness, effective space management, weeding out of old records, and improving overall workplace efficiency. Special focus will be laid on enhancing the work environment, upkeep of offices, maintenance of public interface areas, and sustainable practices within the factory premises.
As part of this drive, RCF has drawn up a detailed action plan covering intensive cleanliness drives across its workshop, offices, and township area. Review and weeding out of old records/files to promote efficient record management will be undertaken besides identification and disposal of scrap materials for optimum space utilization under this campaign. Plan for beautification of surroundings, including tree plantation and upkeep of green areas has also been envisaged. Also, awareness activities among employees and their families to inculcate the spirit of Swachhta and sustainability will be taken up to make the Special Campaign - a success.
RCF has been consistently committed to promoting cleanliness and sustainability, aligning with the vision of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and Government of India’s guidelines. With the launch of Special Campaign 5.0, RCF reaffirms its pledge to contribute towards a cleaner, greener, and more efficient working environment.
It is pertinent to mention that last year too, RCF launched a special drive under Special Drive 4.0 from 2nd October to 31st October 2024 with the aim of clearing pending cases and improving the cleanliness of the premises. All the departments of RCF contributed significantly in the drive.
