Sony SAB artists seek Bappa’s blessing this Ganesh Chaturthi
Sonali Naik from Sony SAB's Maddam Sir.

Sonali Naik, essaying the role of Pusha Singh in Maddam Sir:
Ganesh Chaturthi is really special for me. For the last 14 years, we welcome Ganpati Bappa every year at our home. My faith and belief on Ganesh ji bring me sheer happiness and satisfaction, when I get this opportunity to do something for him during Ganesh Chaturthi. It's his blessings that has made my family and me what we are today. This year, we are bringing Ganpati Ji to our own new bungalow at my hometown. I am really excited for this.
I never have any asks from Ganesh ji, I just believe in praying and welcoming him whole heartedly and I have faith that He knows whatever I need. I just pray and seek his blessings. We bring eco-friendly idol at home, last year my daughter made it from clay at home. So, this year as well, we have planned to do the same. This Ganesh Chaturthi, I only want to tell my fans to look after the health and safety of their family members and loved ones. We all need to take precautions during this tough time and not rush ourselves in processions without any safety measure. Like we hail, before starting any auspicious task, 'Ganpati Bappa Morya'. Happy Ganesh Chaturthi to everyone.
Sayantani Ghosh, essaying the role of Daljeet Bagga in Tera Yaar Hoon Main:
Ganesh Chaturthi is one the biggest festivals we celebrate here in Maharashtra. It carries happy, energetic and positive spirit. Ganesh Chaturthi is a celebration that everyone celebrates across communities, so it’s one of the most special events of the year.
This year has been challenging for all of us and our fight against the pandemic continues. I urge everyone to be responsible and celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi while maintaining all the safety precautions. When it comes to ecofriendly lord Ganesh murti, I totally support it because we help us look after for our environment. I urge everyone to shift to eco-friendly Ganpati idols. One can also make it at home with clay, which can be a memorable family bonding activity. I’d like to wish all my fans and viewers of Tera Yaar Hoon Main a Happy Ganesh Chaturthi. We are now airing at a new timeslot, so as you snack on modak and other delicacies of this festive season, enjoy the upcoming episodes. I hope Ganpati Bappa brings everyone blessings and luck.
Aditya Deshmukh, essaying the role of Special Agent Faizi in Ziddi Dil- Maane Na:
Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the biggest festivals for my family. Growing up in a Maharashtrian Brahmin family, every year Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with great pomp and show at my home. What I absolutely love about this festival is how Maharashtra transforms during Ganesh Chaturthi. We see so many colours, beautiful idols bustling across Mumbai. I always get a feeling that during this festival positivity and happiness blankets us all. There is so much of positivity when Ganpati is at home, we can also say that it is a festival of positivity.
Every year we welcome Bappa home. This year, we will try keeping it simple, restricted to our close family members just like we did last year. We keep Ganpati Bappa at our place for 1.5 days and we make sure to have an ecofriendly idol. We dissolve it in bucket of water and use the same to water our plants.
Things have changed now and during these difficult times, going into a crowded place is not advisable or safe. So, as a family, we don't do processions and keep it simple and safe at home. If I have to ask something this year from Ganesh ji, it has to be the wellbeing of everyone, and I’d pray we get past these tough times and we go back to our normal lives. I will just urge my fans and the viewers of Ziddi Dil, to not visit crowded places, not burn crackers, and try to keep it as simple as you can. Also, I hope, Ganesh ji takes away these difficult times so we can welcome him and celebrate this festival with great pomp and show next year.
Anju Jadhav, essaying the role of Kiara in Wagle Ki Duniya:
The festival of joy is here. Ganesh Chaturthi for me is synonymous to joy and hope. I'm always looking forward for this festival and my excitement knows no bounds because these 10 days brings my loved ones together.
I have planned to decorate my place with flowers and lights and have pooja at home. I also visit temple with my friends. People across the country seem to have adapted themselves to the changing times. Traditional festivities have been tweaked, keeping the fervor intact. From limiting visits to pandals to keeping celebrations confined at our homes. While our celebration style has changed, that shouldn't hinder our love for Lord Ganesha or our enthusiasm for Ganesha Chaturthi. You can still celebrate this festival with great joy at home and digitally.
I hope our Wagle Ki Duniya family and viewers are all set for this celebration, and I hope this festival brings a lot of happiness and love in your lives. I am excited to munch on modak like everyone and I’d like to wish - Happy Ganesh Chaturthi to all my fans.
Diljot Chhabra, essaying the role of Special Agent Sanjana in Ziddi Dil- Maane Na:
Being a Punjabi, I never really celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi but after staying in Mumbai for almost 4 years now, this festival is dear to me. Nothing beats the charm of this city during Ganesh Chaturthi. The city is lit, and it feels great to see everyone coming together for celebrations. The times are not in our favour right now to celebrate the way we have so far but last year has proved that we all can adapt and continue to take traditions forward even if it is in a small capacity. I urge everyone to stays safe and celebrate it with lot happiness keeping necessary safety precautions in mind. This year, I am praying for world peace, healing and good health for everyone.
I am excited to see all the eco-friendly Ganesh idols people bring home this year. Wish you a very Happy Ganesh Chaturthi from Diljot as well as everyone’s beloved Special Agent Sanjana.
Gulki Joshi, essaying the role of Haseena Malik in Sony SAB’s Maddam Sir
The enthusiasm around this festival is surreal and we are fortunate that this year Bappa has made his way to my society and the excitement around this festival has brought everyone together. Although it won’t be possible to visit my friends and family members for celebrations, I will be connecting virtually for Bappa’s darshan with the same enthusiasm and joy. Relishing hot steamed modaks has always been something I look forward to with this festival and this year I plan to try my hands at making them myself. This Ganesh Chaturthi, I wish everyone good health and prosperity.”
