Social Organisation Braves The Bitter Cold To Hold Community Kitchen For Needy
Non-Governmental Organisation(NGO), Purushottam Das Rungta Charitable Trust, braved the extreme cold wave conditions, to hold a community kitchen in Phase-1, Industrial Area, Panchkula. Despite the biting cold, a large number of needy individuals, and passersby partook of the food offered as prasad (blessed food).

Panchkula, January 4, 2026: Non-Governmental Organisation(NGO), Purushottam Das Rungta Charitable Trust, braved the extreme cold wave conditions, to hold a community kitchen in Phase-1, Industrial Area, Panchkula. Despite the biting cold, a large number of needy individuals, and passersby partook of the food offered as prasad (blessed food).
On this occasion, the trust's founder, and well known social worker Amitabh Rungta, said that providing food to the needy during the winter season is a true act of service, which fosters feelings of compassion, cooperation, and equality in society.
During the programme, all the trust members, volunteers, and associates were actively involved in the service with complete dedication and enthusiasm. Local residents appreciated the NGO's continuous service initiative, calling it an inspiration for society.
