Slogan writing competition under SVEEP Activity at GNA University

Jalandhar, November 27, 2021: GNA University organized a Slogan Writing Competition under the SVEEP activity. The University stood accountable for organizing the SVEEP activity under the flagship program of the Election Commission of India. The objective behind this SVEEP activity was to create voter education, spread voter awareness and promote voter literacy in India.
The University executed the activity under the able guidance of SDM Phagwara, Mr. Kulpreet Singh and the Nodal Officer, Phagwara Mr. Rajesh Bhanot. Mr. Kunal Bains, Deputy Registrar cum the Nodal Officer for GNA University along with the Dr. Disha Khanna, Dean Faculty of Liberal Arts and the ELC Incharge held the Slogan Writing competition in full swing.
The students of the University participated in huge numbers. The students showcased their talent and concern about voting rights in form of their slogans written and beautifully painted on the charts. Out of all the submissions, the first 3 positions were adjudged as-
First position- Ms. Sanjot Kaur, B Tech CSE, Semester 1
Second position- Ms. Vanshika , B Sc AM, Semester 3
Third Position- Ms. Yogita Mittal, B Sc AM, Semester 1
S. Gurdeep Singh, the Pro--Chancellor, GNA University complimented the hard endeavours of the coordinators incharges for executing SVEEP activities within the University in creating the real enthusiasm among students to vote.” 
Dr. VK Rattan, the Vice-Chancellor, GNA University during her congratulatory note to the students expressed, “We at GNA University always strives for excellence and today by organizing this SVEEP activity we as the sincere citizens of India create awareness among our youth.”
