Seven-Day NSS Camp Concludes at G.H.G. Khalsa College, Gurusar Sadhar
A seven-day NSS camp at G.H.G. Khalsa College, Gurusar Sadhar, concluded with great enthusiasm. Around 50 NSS volunteers actively participated in educational, cultural, and community welfare activities, reflecting the true spirit of the NSS motto — “Not Me, But You.”

Ludhiana, October 10, 2025: A seven-day NSS camp at G.H.G. Khalsa College, Gurusar Sadhar, concluded with great enthusiasm. Around 50 NSS volunteers actively participated in educational, cultural, and community welfare activities, reflecting the true spirit of the NSS motto — “Not Me, But You.”
The camp began with registration and committee formation, followed by a lecture on the importance of NSS by Dr. Sohan Singh. Daily yoga sessions were conducted under the guidance of Mr. Akash Kumar Gupta and his team. Highlights of the week included pot painting, campus cleanliness drive, Dussehra and Gandhi Jayanti celebrations, a street play on drug addiction, and a rally at village Toosa on “Drug-Free India.” Volunteers also carried out a cleanliness drive at Premjit Memorial Hospital and participated in a lecture on environmental conservation by Dr. Vineet Dhir. The final day featured a skit on Air Pollution, cultural performances, and a valedictory function.
Principal Prof. Inderjit Singh appreciated the dedication and discipline of the NSS volunteers and congratulated the Programme Officers — Prof. Navjit Singh, Prof. Bohar Singh, Prof. Karamjeet Kaur, and Prof. Shelka — for the successful organization of the camp. The event concluded with the National Anthem, marking the end of a week devoted to service, learning, and social awareness.
