The grand curtain-raiser on Wednesday set the stage for three power-packed days that underscored why Sat Paul Mittal School continues to lead in fostering cutting-edge thinking and purposeful innovation. Centered around this year’s compelling theme, "Synergy of Design and Innovation", the fest challenged students to reimagine not only technology and science, but also sustainable solutions, future mobility, and social impact — sparking ideas that blend progress with purpose.
The opening ceremony at Mittal Auditorium began with a vibrant Green Welcome and the ceremonial Lighting of the Lamp, symbolizing the ignition of collective innovation. Shri Bipin Gupta, Vice Chairman of the Governing Council, Sat Paul Mittal School, extended a warm and inspiring welcome to the esteemed guests, celebrating their presence and underscoring the event’s role in nurturing innovation and collaboration among young minds. The introduction of SIF 5.0 by the Core Committee set an enthusiastic tone, while a captivating opening video vividly brought this year’s theme to life.

These powerful words by Harpreet Kang, Chief Guest at the Satyan Innovation Fest 5.0, set the tone for three transformative days at Sat Paul Mittal School, where over more than 200 students from 24 leading schools gathered to turn ideas into impact. The highlight of the ceremony was the distinguished Panel Discussion featuring eminent thought leaders: Rajni Bector, Founder & Chairperson Emeritus, Cremica Group; Sumer Walia, VP, Chitkara University; Ben Bolger, Co-Founder, Squirrel Education; and Vikram Patel, Director Outreach, Plaksha University. They urged the students to pursue innovation not just for profit but for societal good — sparking deep reflection among young minds.
The opening day of SIF 5.0 ignited excitement with two high-energy events: Robo Race and Ethical Hacking. In the Robo Race, student-built robots conquered hurdles, showcasing precision and problem-solving. The Ethical Hacking challenge saw students uncovering cybersecurity flaws under pressure, highlighting the critical importance of digital defense. These events captured SIF 5.0’s mission: to shape innovators with both technical skill and ethical purpose.
The ceremony culminated with a spectacular finale performance, symbolizing the successful blend of celebration and intellectual exploration. In a gesture of deep appreciation, the panelists and chief guest were presented with mementoes, acknowledging their invaluable presence and contribution to the event's success.
