Chandigarh, January 19, 2026: Senior BJP leader and BJP National Council Member from Chandigarh, Sanjay Tandon, is in Delhi to take part in  the  electoral process for electing the National President  of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The election schedule has been chalked out  in New Delhi from January 19 to 21. The election process commenced with the filing of nominations on January 19, which will be followed by the announcement of the new BJP National President on January 20. The schedule will conclude with an important organisational meeting on January 21, aimed at charting the party’s future course.

Tandon was  part of the nomination papers' filing by the nominee,  he will also be present during the announcement of the new President and finally will wrap up his visit by attending the all important national organisational meeting of BJP scheduled post the election of new President.
