Sangathan 2026 Concludes at Amity University, Greater Noida; Winners Felicitated for Sporting Excellence

Amity University, Greater Noida, successfully concludes its month-long annual inter-university sports festival, ‘Sangathan 2026’, with great enthusiasm, excitement and sporting spirit. The concluding ceremony celebrates sporting excellence, with winners and outstanding performers honoured with awards for their achievements in various competitions.
The festival commences with the grand welcome of the symbolic Sangathan Mashaal (torch) in Greater Noida. Passing through various routes in Knowledge Park-III, the mashaal reaches the Amity University, Greater Noida campus, where it receives an enthusiastic welcome. The torch ceremony symbolises unity, determination and sportsmanship, setting an energetic tone for the month-long celebration. The festival is inaugurated with great enthusiasm, bringing together participants and faculty members to celebrate the spirit of sports.
Organised under the leadership and guidance of the Director General, Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Rana, Sangathan 2026 promotes sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork, leadership and the holistic development of students.
The month-long festival features a variety of sporting events, including cricket, basketball, badminton, kho-kho, kabaddi, shot put and javelin throw. The inclusion of traditional Indian games alongside modern sports encourages wider participation and celebrates India's rich sporting heritage.
