RSS to Focus on World Peace, Prosperity and Youth in Next Century: Vijay Kumar

Jalandhar, October 2, 2025: Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) Akhil Bharatiya Sah-Vyavastha Parmukh, Vijay Kumar, was the chief speaker at the Shree Vijaydashmi Utsav organised by Gobind Nagar, Jalandhar Mahanagar at Prem Chand Markanda S.D. Collegiate Sansthan on Thursday.
In his address, Vijay Kumar highlighted the journey of RSS since its inception in 1925 and explained the reasons for its formation. He said the organisation was established with a positive ideology and vision to safeguard the interests of weaker sections of society and to work towards social evolution.
He recalled the challenges faced by the RSS during its ban but underlined that its volunteers had always stood firm with the nation, guided by nationalism and nation-building ideals. Over the past 100 years, RSS has expanded into multiple wings, engaging in social service across diverse fields, he added.
Vijay Kumar stressed that development and social evolution are continuous processes. In the coming phase, RSS will focus on world peace, prosperity (samridhi), environment, social harmony (samarasata), and encouraging positivity among the youth.
He also emphasised the importance of self-reliance and the use of Swadeshi (Made in India) products to boost India’s economic growth. “We should all move forward with one approach—to make India number one on the global stage,” he said.
The event was attended by Vijay Gulati, Swami Sajana Nand, Iqbal Singh Aneja, Raman Sharma, Mohit Seth, Manoranjan Kalia, Rajat Mohindru, and a large number of RSS workers.
