Research Work to Be Conducted on the Literature of Senior Writer Prem Vij
Senior Writer Prem Vij has received yet another significant recognition for his literary contribution. Baba Mast Ram University, Rohtak has decided to undertake research work on his literature. In this regard, the university has formally informed him through an official letter.

Chandigarh, May 20, 2026: Senior Writer Prem Vij has received yet another significant recognition for his literary contribution. Baba Mast Ram University, Rohtak has decided to undertake research work on his literature. In this regard, the university has formally informed him through an official letter.
According to the letter issued by the Dean of Academic Affairs, the topic of the research has been finalized as “Various Concerns Reflected in the Literature of Prem Vij.” The research work has been assigned to Geeta, while Dr. Rajendra Singh will serve as the supervisor.
Earlier too, four universities had completed minor research projects on Prem Vij’s literary works. During 1997–98, the Directorate of Correspondence Courses of Kurukshetra University conducted a minor research project on “Prem Vij ke Sahitiya Mein Nirupit Vividh Sarokar.” Later, in 2002–03, the Hindi Department of the same university completed another minor research study titled “Laghukathakar Prem Vij.”
Continuing this series, the Hindi Department of Guru Nanak Dev University carried out a minor research project in 2003 on “An Analytical Study of the Poetry of Prem Vij.” Similarly, the International Centre for Distance Education and Open Learning of Himachal Pradesh University completed a minor research project in 2004.”
So far, 26 books by Prem Vij have been published in the genres of poetry, short stories, satire-humour, micro-fiction, and literary criticism. He has also been honored by the Language Department Punjab, Punjab Government and the Chandigarh Sahitya Akademi.
