Ludhiana, October 26, 2026: Four books were released together at the monthly meeting of Preet Sahitya Sadan. During the programme held on Sunday evening, writers shared their views on the books, while poets presented their compositions at a poetry session.

Rama Sharma read a paper written by Mamta Jain on Hindi writer Manoj Dhiman’s novel `Mahamanav', while Seema Bhatia presented a paper on his short story collection `Raz Ki Baat'. Rama Sharma said the novel raises questions about the disturbing state of contemporary society in the age of artificial intelligence. Discussing the short story collection, Seema Bhatia observed that most of its stories leave a deep impact by highlighting social unethical practices.

On the occasion, the newly published `Visthapan Ki Upanyas Traiyi' by renowned Punjab-based novelist Dr. Ajay Sharma was also released.

The programme was presided over by Monika Arora, while Rajni Sharma attended as the chief guest.

The second session featured a poetry gathering in which Vibhа Sharma Kumaria, Dilip Awadh, Lovepreet Singh Deepak, Mamta Kashyap, Narendra Soni and Kamal Ludhianvi, among other writers, presented their compositions.
