Ludhiana, August 17, 2025: In a landmark institutional achievement, Dr. Anubhav Sharma, Consultant (Orthopedics) at Dayanand Medical College & Hospital (DMCH), Ludhiana, successfully performed a rare and complex surgery on a 4-year-old child diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma — a malignant bone cancer — around the ankle region (distal fibula). The young patient is from an economically underprivileged family. Demonstrating exceptional commitment, Dr. Anubhav Sharma not only took up the surgical challenge but also personally mobilized financial support for the procedure by arranging donations from his friends and well-wishers.
