Raksha Rajya Mantri Sanjay Seth visits Golden Arrow Division at Ferozepur

Ferozepur,  October 05, 2025: Raksha Rajya Mantri Sanjay Seth visited the Golden Arrow Division at Ferozepur and reviewed operational preparedness, border management and humanitarian outreach initiatives of the formation. During the visit, the Minister undertook an extensive tour of flood-affected areas of the district and commended the swift and selfless relief operations carried out by the Golden Arrow Division under Vajra Corps. He lauded the troops for their timely rescue, medical assistance, and rehabilitation efforts, exemplifying Army’s enduring ethos of Service Before Self in safeguarding and supporting the local populace.
At the Barki War Memorial, Sanjay Seth paid solemn homage to the brave hearts of the 1965 Indo–Pak War, laying a wreath with full military honours. He also visited the Samadhi Sthal at Hussainiwala, where he paid tributes to Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru; reaffirming the nation’s eternal reverence for their supreme sacrifice.
The Minister was briefed on operational readiness, infrastructure development, veteran welfare, and anti-drug initiatives in the sensitive border belt. Appreciating the Indian Army’s multifaceted role in maintaining border security and social stability, he lauded the synergy between the Army and local communities.
Seth also interacted with senior civil administration officials, emphasizing the need for seamless Military - Civil coordination in Disaster Management, Border Development, and Community Resilience.
