Rajvir Jawanda will ever live in hearts of his fans: CM
Visits home of young singer; mourns the tragic and untimely demise

Jagraon (Ludhiana), October 9, 2025: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Thursday mourned the sad and untimely death of noted Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda who passed away at a private hospital in SAS Nagar (Mohali) after he met with an accident a few days ago.
The Chief Minister, who visited the residence of the deceased singer in the morning, shared his condolences with the bereaved family members. He described the demise of the young singer as a colossal loss to the world of art, literature and culture in the contemporary history of the state. Striking an emotional chord, Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the singer departed from the world in his prime youth adding that the void created with the death of Rajvir Jawanda will not be easy to fill in near future.
The Chief Minister recalled the superb performance of the young Punjabi singer, who ruled over the hearts of millions of Punjabis. He said that with the death of Rajvir Jawanda an era of Punjabi singing has come to an end adding that the noted singer will be ever remembered by his fans. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that Rajvir Jawanda made an outstanding contribution for the promotion of Punjabi art and culture.
Sharing his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family, the Chief Minister prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and give courage to family members, friends, relatives and millions of his fans to bear this irreparable loss. He said that Rajvir Jawanda will ever live close to the hearts of millions of his fans through his remarkable songs adding that he was a cultural ambassador and an ardent lover of Punjab, Punjabi and Punjabiat whose scintillating songs will ever keep him alive in the hearts of his fans. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that Jawanda, an icon of Punjabi singing will always be a source of inspiration for the budding singers in the field.
