Punjabi Sahit Academy releases novel ‘Jujharoo’
Punjabi Sahit Academy recently organized ‘Pustak Mela and Sahit Utsav-2025’with the collaboration of Bhasha Vibhag Punjab and Punjab Sangeet Naatak Academy Chandigarh at Punjabi Bhawan, Ludhiana. The opening ceremony of the mela was conducted by the Dr. Sardara Singh Johl, Ex President of Punjabi Sahit Academy Ludhiana. On the occasion, Dr. Sardara Singh Johl while releasing a novel ‘Jujharoo’ written by Dalvir Singh Ludhianvi said that we should read maximum books to learn something new from each book. The characters of the Jujharoo are struggling for the welfare of life. Like this novel, it becomes the valuable ornaments for the libraries.

In the presidium, Dr. Sardara Singh Johl, President of Punjabi Sahit Academy Dr. Sarabjit Singh, Prof. Prof. Ravinder Bhathal, Dr. Sukhdev Singh Sirsa, Suwaran Singh Virk, Hardev Virk Adminton, Dr. Guriqbal Singh, Trilochan Lochi, Young Bahdur Goel and General Secretary of Academy Dr. Gulzar Singh Pandher, while conducting the stage said that Jujharoo novel is knowledge-giving and reformer of the society.
Jung Bahadur Goel (Ex IAS) said that when the book opened, the reader moves to other world. Jujharoo novel is the theme of hardworking children. In the novel lawaaris(abandoned), handicapped and poor children do handwork to achieve the goals and to enlighten the society by abolishing social evils.
Dr. Saarabjit Singh elaborating his views on the Jujharoo novel said that this novel sow the attentive seeds for the new generations.
Trilochan Lochi said that books are the real friends of humanity. Jujharoo novel like fresh rose, so the readers again and again read it, it is my opinion.
Dr. Sukhdev Singh Sirsa said that in the Jujharoo novel, the family of Ginni provides education to the lawaaris child like Rulldu and grows up him like their children. It is the highest peak of humanity.

Sadhu Singh, Amarjit Sherpuri, Amrinder Sohal etc., who presenting their views said that Ludhianvi has written this novel to uplift the life of lawaaras, handicapped and poor children.
