Ludhiana, December 13, 2024:  Special Olympics Punjab successfully hosted an exciting event, bringing together athletes, coaches, and dignitaries to celebrate the power of sports and inclusion.

25th Punjab State Special Olympics Games and 1st North Zone Special Olympics Games 

Marking the Silver Jubilee of the games. 60 schools, 800 athletes and coaches are participating in these 3 day games at Guru Nanak Public School, Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana. We thank them for the venue.

Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal was the chief guest of the opening ceremony.

The event was a resounding success, with athletes and coaches coming together to promote unity, acceptance, and empowerment. The Special Olympics Athlete Oath, "Let me win. But if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt," was proudly recited by athletes, embodying the spirit of courage, perseverance, and determination that defines our movement.
