PU Declares August 30 as Working Day Ahead of Students’ Council Polls

Chandigarh, August 28, 2025: Panjab University has announced that all Teaching Departments, Institutes and Centres of the University will be working on Saturday, 30th August 2025 in view of the Panjab University campus Students' council Elections - 2025 to be held on September 3. The timetable of 4th September 2025 will instead be followed on 30th August 2025.
In lieu of the working day on August 30, 2025, Thursday, 4th September 2025, will be observed as a holiday in all Teaching Departments, Institutes, Centres, and the Office of the Dean Student Welfare.
