Jalandhar, December 3, 2025: Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous), has been invited by Harvard University, USA, to deliver series of lecture to the international scholars during a prestigious extension program. The first session was attended by a diverse group of students and scholars hailing from various continents and nationalities, reflecting the global appeal of the program. During the intensive two-hour session, Prof. Dwivedi spoke on the critical theme of “Ethics in Social and Organisational Structures.” She seamlessly blended modern organisational theory with ancient Indian philosophy. Highlighting the timeless Indian concept of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (The World is One Family), she emphasised the importance of ethics in human life as the foundation of a harmonious society. She further expounded on the philosophy of Swami Vivekananda, specifically his message of Universal Brotherhood and the concept of "One Earth, One Family" delivered during the Parliament of Religions in USA. She also urged the scholars to view ethical leadership through this lens of global unity.
Prof. Dwivedi’s lecture was a comprehensive guide on how to improve social and organisational systems through moral integrity. She delved deep into the definitions of ethics and their application in social systems&discussed the "Code of Ethics," the benefits of ethical behaviour in corporate structures, and the vital importance of ethics in maintaining organisational health. Dr. Dwivedi introduced the concept of "Leading with Soul," focusing on the role of leadership in defining ethical culture and the significance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). She also addressed the complex ethical issues arising in modern social and organisational contexts and the challenges leaders face in maintaining integrity.Connecting theory to practice, Dr. Dwivedi shared the mission of KMV, citing the institution’s basic strategies as a case study for building an ethical organization. She shared practical frameworks used at KMV to foster a value-based education system.Her presentation was highly appreciated by the international audience comprising scholars, educators, and researchers from around the world. The session sparked engaging discussions on ethics and social responsibility in an organisation. Prof. Dwivedi’s participation not only marked KMV’s presence on a global academic platform but also reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to advancing the cause of women’s education and leadership. She expressed gratitude to the organizers for the opportunity and reiterated KMV’s mission to continue empowering young women through value-based, globally relevant education. 
Nazeli Tonoyan, Co-instructor, EMVR, was also present during the lecture and highly appreciated the depth of insights provided by Dr. Dwivedi.
