Placement Drive Organised by IEP cell at Home Science College

Chandigarh: Innovation Entrepreneurship and Placement (IEP) Cell organised Placement Drive in the college  on March 02, 2023 for its alumni, Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Diploma students of the college. International Food and Beverage company Nestle approached the college for recruitment of candidates for the post of Culinary Specialist.

Padma, Culinary Consultant from Nestle visited the college for an interview. Initially in one hour  session of her pre- placement talk, she oriented the students about the company's profile, job designation, job role and pay package. Later she interviewed  80 students from various streams. Ten candidates were shortlisted for one post of Culinary Specialist.

Padma was highly impressed with the communication and interpersonal skills of the students.

Principal of the college Prof. Sudha Katyal appreciated the students for their enthusiastic participation in the drive and praised the efforts of the IEP Cell for organising this event in the college.
