Placement day celebrated at CGC Jhanjeri

Mohali: Chandigarh group of Colleges, Jhanjeri celebrated Placement Day at its campus. 145 students of B.Tech (CSE, ECE, Mechanical & Civil) and 116 of MBA, BBA, BCA, B.Com, Fashion Technology & Agriculture got job offers in leading companies of India much before they are going to passout in July 2020. Students have been placed in Cognizant, Wipro  ,Capgemini ,IBM ,Z S Associates, Cubastion Consulting, Mindtree Ltd., Pinnacle Consultancy, Dasnac Group, Ceasefire Industries, IDFC , First Bank, Tommy Hilfiger, Jaro Education, Hinduja Leyland Finance, DCB Bank, Tech Mahindra, Virtusa, SUFI, Mu-Sigma, Value Labs, Innovacer Management, Grazitti Interactive, Birla Soft, United Health group, NIIT Technologies, Zensar etc . In terms of annual salary Tivo India at a package is of Rs. 12 Lakh per annum &  McAfee Software  package is  11 lakh per annum &   VMWare and LIDO each offered  10 lakh per annum etc . Students will be joining as regular employee’s wef July 2020 after the final exams.
Congratulating all the students, Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC said that the placement of students is close to the hearts of the management. He further added that 627 companies have already conducted their placement drives in our campus making a total of 6314 offers with highest package of Rs.31.77 LPA. Dr. G.D. Bansal, Director General said that in order to achieve high success rate in the interviews of these companies, the college arranges a complete pre-placement training for its students .In this training, the students are imparted skills to crack Aptitude Tests consisting of Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Analysis & Communication Skills.
