Jalandhar, September 9, 2021: Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari in a press release said that Personality Development Centre has been duly established in Doaba College. It would cater to the much needed modules required to successfully crack the interviews of various competitions and in placement drives of Multi-National companies. Dr. Bhandari said through this centre a team of experienced and professional teachers would instil the qualities of positive thinking, stress management, public speaking, etiquettes, dressing sense, etc in students so as to prepare them for the global world. Under this venture Personality Development Centre of the College organised two-day workshop for 10+2 60 and 10+1 92 students of Doaba Collegiate Sr. Sec. School in college campus. Dr. Vineet Mehta, Incharge of the school welcomed the resource persons and said that it was an in step in right direction to provide holistic education to the students. Prof. Sandeep Chahal, Coordinator of the Centre taught in detail about public speaking, basics of English, vocabulary building, situational dialogues and interview techniques. Prof. Rahul Hans discussed about table manners and etiquettes, postures, how to serve food on a plate, how to taste food, usage of knife and fork, relevance of salad, etc. Lieutenant Prof. Rahul Bharadwaj discussed about dressing sense for interviews, combinations of shirt & pant and use of shoes. Prof. Neha Gupta talked about stress management, positive thinking, anger management, yoga and meditation.
