Ludhiana, August 2, 2022: To keep the traditional culture alive PCTE Group of Institutes took a step forward to organize and celebrate Teej Festival which brought everyone in the campus closer to the regional culture.

Teej festival marks the significance of the arrival of monsoon, keeping the theme of merriment and festivity, Punjabi folk dances, songs and activities made the occasion colourful. To cheer up the anticipation of the event, Ms and Mr Teej competition was held, which saw ebullient participation from everyone present. All employees attended the function, and the women were dressed in vibrant and colourful ethnic wear, with bindis and jhumkas.

Heena Kalra, Faculty, PCTE said, “People these days are inclined towards westernization and this is one step taken by PCTE to promote Punjabi Culture amongst. Everyone in the entire campus was seen enjoying the Punjabi cultural event with full enthusiasm which could be seen in their enthusiasm.

Dr. K.N.S. Kang said, "It is good to see everyone connected to the culture and religious roots. He further quoted that it’s important that we all engross ourselves in such occasions and feel proud of who we are.”
